Wilmslow suggested train 11:16. It is also possible to get to Holmes Chapel from various places in the branch by train via Stockport or Kidsgrove & Crewe.
Suggested return bus 42 to Congleton 16:00 but there is a later bus at 18:15. Many return trains.
