Disley Wander & Pub of the Season (Winter 24/25)

An opportunity to visit the most northerly pubs of the Macclesfield & East Cheshire Branch. Disley is sandwiched in the North East corner of Cheshire boardering on Greater Manchester & Derbyshire.

We are combining the wander with the presentation of the Macclesfield & East Cheshire Winter Pub of the season award to Malt Disley.

All changing in Stockport.

NOTE Travel from stations on the Stockport - Chester line is not feasible because of engineering works,

Bus travel is possible from Poynton (& Macclesfield) using 391 & 199 buses changing Hazel Grove or from Macclesfield using 58 & 199 buses changing at Buxton but not recommended unless you have a very well controlled bladder!
