Lord Eldon, Knutsford is Spring Pub of the Season
This is a proper Community hub with a good local following; the regulars are seen as characters rather than customers. The low beams and traditional atmosphere make this one of the most welcoming pubs in Knutsford. The real fire is a draw and the pub has pool, darts and a dominoes team. Sky Sports in one room shows sporting events and live music features twice a month.
Two cask beers are sold, the Tetley Bitter being accompanied by a guest ale from the Stonegate list. The Lord Eldon is unique as a pub name and has stood the test of time, being more than 300 years old. Traditional pubs like this are becoming harder to find and we are lucky to have the Eldon. We should treasure it for the gem that it is.
