Hanging Gate Higher Sutton is our Spring branch Pub of the Season.
The nearest public transport is the 14A Macclesfield-Langley bus, Suggested bus is the 11:30 bus from Macclesfield Bus Station. It is then a one and three quarter mile walk to the pub from Langley Methodist Church. down quiet roads and part of the Gritstone trail. Alternatively, by car, take the road that heads uphill next to the Church House pub in Sutton for two miles. There is a sharp right turn just before the Hanging Gate. The car park is just before the pub.
