Alfred’s Macclesfield is branch Autumn Pub of the Season

Alfred’s is a popular bar and diner with a long frontage onto Park Green. On warm days doors open onto a terrace at the front giving the feel of a continental cafe.

What’s not immediately apparent, is that this is a Hydes pub serving two cask ales. It has undergone several transformations over the years as The Jar Bar, 4 Park Green, Mandarina (formal name of a silkworm)  and now Alfred’s.

This is one of Hydes most southerly pubs managed by Louise since 2013. Cellarwork by the team is excellent so good cask beer can be relied upon. There is a cask discount Monday to Thursday. It hosts regular events advertised around the pub.

We will be presenting the award at around 3pm. The pub is within easy walking distance of both Macclesfield bus & railway stations.
