Bulls Head, Smallwood is Autumn Branch Pub of the Season

Possibly a pub that some of you may not have come across. It is located approximately 4 miles south west of Congleton on the A50 Holmes Chapel – Alsager road. It is a pub of many characters, having a large dining room on the left hand side, a area very much like traditional village pub in the centre and a conservatory to the right right along with another one to the rear. Although it is a big pub it does not feel like one. The bar features four real ales of diverse origin and often from the nearby Merlin Brewery in Arclid.
